I'll tell you this. Overall, when you choose an HDD, there's not much difference in the manufacturer. The production technologies have been refined over decades, so everyone, literally everyone, has learned to make them excellently. But I prefer WD, as they are one of the most experienced, having been making hard drives since the distant past. I have this model myself. No complaints about it, it works and doesn't ask for much. There's not much to say here except that this is one of the best models that definitely won't let you down. By the way, if you keep track of the files and periodically defragment, the write speed often goes up to 100, which is excellent for hard drives, especially 2.5'. (We're talking about HDD!! SSD, of course, is much faster.) No use WD WD10SPSX more than year |
We bought it for an old non-working laptop, but since there was no longer a need for it, it was used as the main drive when assembling a PC, because there simply wasn’t enough money for 3.5, and it was lying idle. Worked for about 9 months, replaced with WD10EZEX. 1. Silence. Never heard it during all the time of use. 2. Guarantee. 3. Reliability. Although it is no longer used, it is still alive. 4. Compactness. It was just hanging among the wires, there was no slot for 2.5) 5. Doesn't heat up at all. Didn't find use WD WD5000LPLX month or more i recommend it should buy |
