Main bowls

The number of main bowls provided in the product design.

The simplest variant of the design is 1 main bowl - a traditional, familiar to many variants of kitchen sinks. In addition, models are available with two main bowls - the same or almost the same size. This design provides additional features: for example, one bowl can be filled with soapy water and put dirty dishes there to «decompose» dried dirt, and in the second bowl - rinse dishes that have been in soap solution. On the other hand, it should be borne in mind that sinks on 2 bowls are more cumbersome and expensive than single bowls.

Separately, we note that there are sinks in which the main bowl is supplemented by an auxiliary capacity of much smaller sizes. Such a container is intended for defrosting (see below) and is not the main bowl, so such products in our catalog are one-cup.

Bowl location

Position of the washing bowl relative to the entire body of the product.

The standard, most traditional variants are placement left, right or center (if viewed from the user’s point of view). Some models are available in both left and right layouts; they are marked in our catalogue as «left/right». There are also t. n. reversible sinks: they have a symmetrical shape and can be installed both left-handed and right-handed, at the user’s choice.

The choice for this parameter depends primarily on the layout of the kitchen and how it is necessary to fit the sink.

Additional bowl

The presence of a separate additional bowl.

Such a capacity has the form of a small additional bowl (approximately half the main). It can be useful not only for thawing, but also for other tasks - for example, washing fruit or washing pasta through a complete colander (see «Extra»). The convenience of this function is that when using the container - the main bowl remains free and can be used for other purposes: for example, nothing prevents washing the dishes in it.

Tap hole

Availability of space in the sink for the installation of the mixer. This hole can be cut in advance or, if necessary, knocked out during installation (the corresponding place on the model already exists and is made of a softer material).

Minimum cabinet width (base)

The smallest width of the cabinet, pedestal or other base required for the installation of the sink. By width in this case means the distance between the side walls of the cabinet (base). If the width of the sink is too small, it will not get the necessary support, and its normal use will be impossible.
