End-of-cycle signal
Signal indicates that the machine has finished working. Many dishwashers are quiet, and without a special signal, it can be difficult to determine if the programme has ended.
Display
The machine has its own
display. Typically, this is the simplest LCD screen capable of displaying multiple characters. However, even such a screen provides additional convenience and makes the operation more intuitive: various notifications can be displayed on it, in particular, about the current operating mode, the remaining time, set timers, the remaining detergent, etc. More advanced dishwashers can be equipped with
a TFT display with advanced features. But this does not affect the washing process.
Energy efficiency class (new)
This parameter shows the efficiency of electricity consumption by a dishwasher. Classes are designated in Latin letters from A to G, in ascending order of energy consumption. It was originally conceived until more energy-efficient models pulled up to class A, which eventually received the marking A +, A ++, and A +++. Further development of technology has made it possible to go even further and, in order not to produce pluses in energy efficiency labelling, in March 2021, manufacturers returned to the previous indices from G to A, where A is the most energy-efficient dishwasher. Accordingly, the 2021 models will have modern markings, while older models will be marked the old way.
Noise class
It allows one to decipher the values of the noise level in decibels. It is marked, like other classes, in Latin letters, where A is the quietest class of dishwashers.
Dimensions (HxWxD)
Dishwasher dimensions in height, width and depth, respectively. A fairly obvious parameter; we only note that often when looking for a place to install, the width and height of the unit are of key importance.
In most modern dishwashers, the width corresponds to one of the standard values (plus or minus a centimeter):
45 cm for narrow models,
65 cm for standard ones and
55 cm as a compromise between these dimensions. As for the second size, dishwashers with a height of up to 60 cm inclusive are usually classified as
compact, such models mainly involve installation on a table, cabinet or other similar stand. Height over 60 cm already allows you to put the machine
on the floor.
