Opening

Opening methods provided in the design of the cabinet.

The most popular options in this case are hinged doors, hinged doors",
— Drawers. The most common method of opening among modern cabinets for washbasins; in most cases, is the only one, with doors (one or another design) boxes are significantly less common. Such devices, on the one hand, are very simple and inexpensive, on the other - convenient, reliable and practical. Among other things, drawers are usually able to move almost the entire length, and to access their contents do not need to go to the back of the nightstand.

— Swing doors. Doors of traditional design: fastened on the vertical pivot axis and open forward-right or forward-left. This design is familiar and familiar to most users, and it is quite convenient and practical. Therefore, the doors in the modern cabinets for the washbasins are most often made of hinged.

— Hinged doors. Doors on the horizontal axis open forward-down. Noticeably less popular than...the hinged, as the open door protrudes forward and can create inconvenience. However, such devices have advantages - for example, in the same open position, the door can be used as an improvised shelf. In addition, this design is great for built-in laundry baskets; in fact, with such baskets, folding doors are most often used.

— Sliding doors. Very rare option: doors that to open to the left or right. The advantages of this arrangement include the fact that the open door does not protrude ahead of the dimensions of the cabinets; this is especially useful in cramped conditions. On the other hand, the sliding design does not allow to open the entire interior of the furniture - part of it will inevitably be covered by a sliding door. Therefore, and for some other reasons, this opening method is only found in single models, and it is not usually combined with other versions.

— No handle (push-to-open). This feature means that the doors and/or boxes of the cabinets (all or at least part of them) do not use handles, but special mechanisms that work from pressing the outside of the door or box. After such a push, the retainer is switched off and the door/drawer is pushed a little forward (so that you can take the hand and complete the opening). And to close, you either need to simply return the structure to its original position, or press the same way again.
The main advantage of cabinets with the push-to-open function can be called a minimum of protruding parts (or even their complete absence). This, in particular, makes it easier to clean (reduces the number of corners where dirt can accumulate), and also reduces the likelihood of hitting a protruding handle. In addition, a discreet design without unnecessary details is great for bathrooms with a minimalist design. On the other hand, the more traditional concealed handles don't stick out either; and additional mechanisms affect the cost of the product and somewhat reduce its reliability. Therefore, there are few models with push-to-open nowadays. Country of origin

The country specified as the manufacturer of the item. Note that this country often has nothing to do with the place of actual production - as a manufacturer, they most often indicate the “homeland” of the brand under which the cabinets are presented on the market, and production facilities may be located in another country. However, this cannot be called an unequivocal deception: conscientious manufacturers, as a rule, carefully monitor the quality of their products, regardless of where exactly they are produced.

We also note that data on the country of origin is often used for advertising purposes: some countries (especially highly developed ones) look more preferable for buyers in terms of the origin of the goods. But here, too, everything is very conditional: "unpopular" countries may well produce goods of not worse quality and at the same time at a lower cost (without overpaying for a "solid name"). Therefore, in any case, it is worth focusing primarily not on geography, but on the general reputation of a particular company or brand. In this niche, in addition to the domestic manufacturer, the most popular manufacturers are Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland.
