Water supply

The direction of flow water supply provided in the installation. There are many constructs that allow for multiple variants at once - for example, above and rearToilet. The toilet bowl is usually a hanging bowl. Provided for in the relevant models (cf. above). The advantage of this configuration is obvious: the «native» toilet by definition is optimal for installation, it does not need to be searched and selected separately. On the other hand, the complete bowl may not be suitable in shape or any features, so its characteristics do not hurt to clarify before buying.

Tank. Own tank, optimally sized and shaped for this installation. May have various special functions (cf. «Rinse»), they should be specified separately.

Bidet. The fixed module is initially equipped with a bidet. The main advantage of pre-installed bidet installations is the absence of the need to select the plumbing separately - in this case, the standard bidet is ideal for installation in terms of size, weight and functionality.

Flush button. Its own flush button is provided only in models originally equipped with a tank (see above). The flush is designed in accordance with the design. The design of this part corresponds to the functions of the tank: for example, in models with two-mode flush, the control key is usually also double. Recall that the flush button is located outside, so before you buy it is worth making sure that it...fits into the design of the bathroom.

Soundproof pad. A special gasket placed between the installation and the bulkhead covering it to muffle the sound - first of all the noise of the water collected in the drain tank.

Flush

Flush features provided in installation.

Dual mode flush. Possibility of flushing in two modes - standard and economical. In the first case, the entire drain tank (from 6 to 10 liters) is emptied, in the second only a certain portion of water (for example, 2 or 3 liters); each mode is usually responsible for a separate button. This feature allows more efficient and economical water consumption: the user can choose the mode of flushing depending on how much water is needed at any given moment.

Flush-stop mode. Mode that allows manually adjusting the amount of water. Control in such systems is carried out by a single button: the flush is turned on the first push of the button and turned off by a second push (or stops when the tank is completely emptied if the button was not pressed a second time). Such systems allow even more accurate dosing of water than two-mode (cf. the corresponding paragraph) - the user can determine when the bowl has been cleaned and the flush can be stopped.

Touchless flush. Flush systems working in a contactless way. They are often fully automatic and do not require any additional action from the user at all. So, one of the most popular options is an infrared sensor, which determines the presence of a person before installation; when a person leaves, the flushing system is turned on. Another option is a sensor that...records the presence of waste in the control area (for example, a liquid in the urinal). In any case, the main advantage of such systems is hygiene: the user does not need to touch the elements of the bathroom. This is especially important for common toilets. On the other hand, contactless automation is expensive.

Drain tank volume

The volume of the drain tank provided in the installation.

The larger volume, on the one hand, allows for better flushing, on the other - affects the water consumption and tank dimensions. In addition, with relatively small bowls, it does not require much water. Most installations use tanks of 6 to 10 liters - these indicators are considered optimal in the light of the described features.
