Peak power
Peak power is responsible for emergency situations, the device is able to work on it for a short time, however, long-term work with such a load is fraught with a meat grinder breakdown.
Capacity
The amount of meat that the meat grinder can process in one minute. More
powerful meat grinders(see Power) are usually more performant, however, these two parameters are not directly related — the meat grinders with the same capacity may have different power, and vice versa, equally powerful devices may differ significantly in performance.
Body material
The body of a modern meat grinder is most often made of plastic or metal.
Plastic devices usually weigh less and cost less; in turn,
metal ones are more durable and look “more solid”. At the same time, there are models made of both of these materials —
plastic and metal. Such a solution elevates the models to a more status rank, but at the same time does not deprive them of lightness and design variations.
Overload protection
The
meat grinder engine protection system from overheating and overload, which turns off the device in case of a critical increase in loads (for example, when a bone enters the meat grinder and the spiral auger is jammed).
Carrying handle
The presence of a handle on the body of the device, which allows you to easily move the device. This is especially true for heavy metal models that are regularly hidden in a closet.
