The internal electronic system has been tested for over one year all across Europe, facing every more→possible fishing and weather condition. The modern design includes a very deep rod recess which makes it possible to fish extreme situations without the use of additional snag ears. Alarms operate with AAA batteries, while the receiver operates with a 9V battery, this creates the best possible compromise between energy consumption and wireless range. The K3 bite alarm is the result of a 2-year project which has seen countless tests, tweaks, more tests and further tweaks. The aim was to produce a compact, waterproof alarm with unrivalled battery li more→fe while remaining feature-packed and pleasing to the eye. Removing the tone function has allowed us to install a smaller, less power-draining speaker for a much more compact unit with a superb battery life.
