The Audalusian is a racy, elegant horse. Actually the breed is called 'Pura razza Espanola', in English 'Pure Spanish breed'.
In the 15th century, monks began to breed the Andalusians in the sou more→th of Spain. With its graceful appearance, it enchanted especially nobles and kings. Therefore, only few would guess that the Andalusian has long been used as a cavalry horse. Although it was always known for his courage and strength, it is rather their elegance that distinguishes it. It is a unique dressage horse and even dominates the famous leap into the air, which is otherwise known only from the higher riding school of the Lipizzaner horse.

Yeehaw! When riding Western-style in the Schleich Farm World you need real professional riders. They hold their reins with just one hand. Wow! That's because real cowgirls and cowboys need their other more→hand to swing their lasso. Or to nibble a cake from the riders' cafe while they gallop skilfully across the meadow in the garden.
In Western riding, by the way, the horse responds to the slightest pressure from the rider's thighs. That's important if you have to come to a sudden stop in mid-gallop. That can happen - for example, if you spontaneously meet another horse friend in the living room and want to stop for a chat about the last week of school.
