The Colt Cowl Universal Opening is a traditional Colt Cowl which has been modified to include a top opening system. The Colt all purpose anti downdraught chimney cowl is all purpose and protects from rain and birds. Completing this product is a high quality manufacture and tested to BSEN 16475-7:2016 standards for added reliability.

This Colt Cowls Register Plate is manufactured from galvanised steel and comes with two angled support bars with pre-drilled holes for fixing. This plate is to be secured to the base of the chimney stack to seal it off at the bottom, stopping debris from hitting your stove. It can be cut on site to fit the base size of the stack and it can be removed for inspection of the chimney liner. This 36” x 12” (1.5mm thick) plate is fitted with an adjustable plate with a Ø150mm flue apature which has front to back movement.
