Trend Trade range two flute router cutters have extra long shanks and are designed to meet the demanding needs of the professional trademen. They have a 2mm micrograin Tungsten Carbide tips for cutting the most abrasive materials to give extra long life. They have a PTFE coat, indicated by distinctive black colouring and produce a clean finish to abrasive timbers such as chipboard, MDF, plywood and certain hardwoods. The dimensions are etched on the extra long 40mm shanks for quick identification and are suitable for mortice and worktops applications.

Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when cutting speed takes preference over finish. Cutters with prefix S are Solid Carbide. Cutters of 2.0mm diameter and below should have a maximum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass. Small diameter tools must be handled with care to avoid breakage. Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.
