This is the float to use on low rivers when the flow isn’t too great. Like the DH18, the shape of the float has very little resistance to taking fish, which means you connect with more bites. This pattern, with differing length 1.5mm hollow bristles and carbon stems is the one to go for when you're fishing rivers with pace, as the shape of the float will help you to slow the float and hook more→bait down. In the smaller sizes, this float is perfect for long pole/ short line fishing with baits like hemp, tares, maggots and casters. We've now added 0.80g, 1.0g, 1.5g, 2.0g, 2.5g, 3g, 4g, 5g and 6g sizes. This new design is m more→uch more sensitive than the original, though, and is better for species like roach and dace. A strung out shotting pattern is recommended for the four smaller sizes while a small bulk shotting arrangement can be used with the three larger floats. Recommended main lines for these floats are 0.14mm or 0.16mm and to achieve perfect presentation, use a small section of tight fitting (thin wall) silicone rubber at the top.
