The Irwin Cordless Multi-Purpose Drill Bits have been designed for cordless, low speed multi-purpose drilling. They offer around 10% extra battery life per charge. They have a four-facet ground carbide tip for lower drilling pressure and better centring and allow for combined drilling into wood and brickwork the Cordless Drillbit is excellent for such drilling jobs - where you drill through wood into brickwork. Only one drillbit is needed to do the job and will drill a wide selection of different materials like Brickwork Ceramic Tiles Breeze Block Wood Dry Wall Gypsum Board Limestone Slate Marble Eternite Plastics/Reinforced plastics.

The Irwin Metric HSS Cobalt Drill Bits are perfect for drilling stainless steel and other high alloys. Their 135 split point grinding ensures perfect centring and reduced drilling pressure. An industrial quality ground flute ensures high accuracy drilling and fast removal of chips. The drill bit body is manufactured from high quality HSS steel containing 5% Cobalt (Co). The added 5% Cobalt improves the red hardness (heat resistance) of the drill bit and results in significantly extended life. It has an attractive golden tempered surface finish.

The Irwin auger wood drill bit has been designed for all general wood boring and offers a superior performance. The single spur cutting edge scribes the circumference of the hole for a smoother quality finish. The hexagon shank prevents slipping in a drill chuck or bit extension. The solid centre provides extra rigidity whilst boring, the self-feeding screw point provides faster boring in both soft and hard woods and the fully hardened body from tip to shank provides extra durability.
