With the ap9641 APC network card you connect an APC Smart-UPS (equipped with a SmartSlot) to the network. This way you can monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP EcoStruxure IT web browser) and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

The AP9641 includes one temperature sensor (AP9335T) allowing the ambient temperature of the UPS to be monitored remotely. An automatic temperature-initiated shutdown of the UPS is also possible.

The Liebert MicroPOD maintenance bypass and power output distribution switch allows you to manually transfer the connected equipment to utility power via a maintenance bypass switchN/Apermitting scheduled maintenance or UPS replacement without discontinuing power to the critical load. Transferring back to UPS power is just as easy simply turn the switch to the indicatedN/Aposition and the load is protected by the UPS.
