The more→bulbous tips of the floats are easy to see at distance, which is important when you are catching your fish 30 metres or more downstream from where you are sat. It has a thicker hollow bristle and the shape of the float allows it to be held back hard and easily controlled in very more→strong current. This float works especially well in depths from six to fifteen feet and should be fished with DH In-Line olivette. This is fixed around two to three feet from the hook with a No4 or No1 drop shot on the hooklength.

The tip more→diameter of this float is critical in my opinion and you will notice that the diameters get progressively thicker as the floats get bigger. To help choose the right size of float, as a general guide, use 1g for every two feet of water. A fast flowing eight foot deep swim therefore requires a 4g float.
