SIZES: 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 6g Our original No1 Alloy Avon has become a big success with anglers all over the UK and abroad but there are times when the tops of the floats can be a little too big and bu more→oyant. This new No2 model has been developed with species like roach, dace and chub in mind and all five sizes feature long alloy stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops. The reason for this taper is to allow the angler to shot the float well down when a bulk rig as well as a reasonable amount of sensitivity is required. The shouldered design allows the angler to hold back quite hard in strong flow.

It's the pattern to go for when you need more visibili more→ty than the shouldered No1 version and is ideal for running long distances down fast flowing swims. This pattern and the No1 float are both best fished with strung out shotting, spread from around 1ft below the float right the way down to within 10in from the hook.
