SIZES: 2No4, 4No4, 10No4, 12No4, 14No4 These floats take over where the shouldered patterns leave off and they work really well in fast flowing water where you also need to fish a long way out. The more→bulbous tips of the floats are easy to see at distance, which is important when you are catching your fish 30 metres or more downstream from where you are sat. Shotting is kept simple and I recommend a strung out arrangement of No4's with a No6 on the hooklength.

SIZES: 1g, 1.5g, 2g, 2.5g, 3g, 4g Until now, most anglers have regarded bolo fishing as a style to use in deep water with floats of 3g and above. This new model changes everything as it's designed more→for use in depths from 5ft to 12ft in any situations where a bulk and single dropper can be used in preference to a strung out shotting pattern.

SIZES: 6No4, 8No4, 10No4, 12No4, 14No4 Another totally unique design. This pattern features a shouldered top and a heavy 2.4mm aluminium stem, which gives the float significantly more weight than a more→ny previous designs. This makes the floats easy to use for distance casting and gives the angler much better control in pacy water. They're especially good in downstream wind as the float 'sits in' and the line can be easily mended against them. This, in turn makes for better bait presentation.

SIZES: 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 6g Our original No1 Alloy Avon has become a big success with anglers all over the UK and abroad but there are times when the tops of the floats can be a little too big and bu more→oyant. This new No2 model has been developed with species like roach, dace and chub in mind and all five sizes feature long alloy stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops. The reason for this taper is to allow the angler to shot the float well down when a bulk rig as well as a reasonable amount of sensitivity is required. The shouldered design allows the angler to hold back quite hard in strong flow.

SIZES: 3g, 4g, 5g, 6g These floats are designed for use in deep water, usually with a long rod approach. My general rule of thumb for this sort of fishing is to use a DH In-Line olivette – 1g for e more→very three feet of water. A swim that is around twelve feet deep should therefore be tackled with a 4g float. The hollow tips of these floats allows for easy visibility at distance.

SIZES: 6No4, 8No4, 10No4, 12No4, 14No4 Another totally unique pattern. This one has a dome top but also features a heavy 2.4mm aluminium stem. It's the pattern to go for when you need more visibili more→ty than the shouldered No1 version and is ideal for running long distances down fast flowing swims. This pattern and the No1 float are both best fished with strung out shotting, spread from around 1ft below the float right the way down to within 10in from the hook.

This is a great float for big fish approaches. The bristles are a sensible thickness so that you can see them easily and the hole through the body of the float means you can use quite thick line witho more→ut the fear of any float body damage. SIZES: 1g, 1.5g, 2g, 2.5g, 3g, 4g This pattern is perfect for river swims from 5ft to 12ft where the flow is slight or where there are a lot of fish present and you are getting bites quickly. Like more→our other bolo floats, it is best fished with a bulk in the form of a DH On-Line olivette about 18in to 2ft from the hook and a single drop shot, either a No8 or a No6, positioned about 10 inches from the hook. This is also a great float for use with long whips, a style of fishing that has become very popular on a variety of venues in recent times.

SIZES: 2No4, 3No4, 4No4, 5No4, 6No4, 7No4, 8No4 This brand new, unique design features a 2mm aluminium heavy base and a much slimmer body profile than the No2 model. We field-tested many prototype more→s of this float on rivers like the Trent and Severn before we got the body and stem lengths perfectly matched. Best used with a strung out shotting pattern, using No8 or No6 shots all the way up the line to within a few inches of the float base. Done this way, casting is effortless and the heavy base makes control easy.

SIZES: 3g, 4g, 5g, 6g This float features the same thickness hollow bristle as the No1 Bolo but the body shape makes it a better choice where there is more flow, as it is easier to control and hold more→back.
To choose the correct size, use a DH In-Line olivette – 1g of capacity for every two to three feet of water.

SIZES: 2No4, 4No4, 6No4, 8No4, 10No4, 12No4, 14No4 This design is totally unique in the world of stick float fishing. The floats feature short, colour impregnated hollow inserts instead of being pa more→inted which means they are much easier to see whenever there is sunlight on the water. The diameters of the inserts have been graded to suit the float sizes and the floats are ideally suited to depths from 4ft to 14ft.

It has a thicker hollow bristle and the shape of the float allows it to be held back hard and easily controlled in very more→strong current. This float works especially well in depths from six to fifteen feet and should be fished with DH In-Line olivette. This is fixed around two to three feet from the hook with a No4 or No1 drop shot on the hooklength.

SIZES: 2No4, 4No4, 6No4, 8No4, 10No4, 12No4, 14No4 If you need a fairly sensitive float tip but also need to fish a fair way out these lignum base floats offer everything you need. They're designed more→for use in medium flowing water in depths up to around twelve feet and I use them with a strung out shotting pattern using equally spread No4 shot with a No6 just above the hooklength and a No8 on it.

SIZES: 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 6g, 8g These floats are designed for fishing with a DH In-Line olivette around two to three feet from the hook and one or two droppers, either No4 or No6 shot, below. The tip more→diameter of this float is critical in my opinion and you will notice that the diameters get progressively thicker as the floats get bigger. To help choose the right size of float, as a general guide, use 1g for every two feet of water. A fast flowing eight foot deep swim therefore requires a 4g float.
