The AS6 is a great addition to our award-winning pole float series designed in conjunction with Alan Scotthorne. It is currently the largest float family in the series and available in six sizes: 0.4 more→g, 0.6g, 0.8g, 1g, 1.25g and 1.5g. The AS6 was designed to meet Alan's exacting requirements. Initially this was to cover deeper stillwaters of over 6ft (2m) or more. However, it soon became apparent just how versatile the AS6 was for a wide variety of venues, including rivers and deep canals. The oval body offers good stability, particularly in windy conditions. It is also made from high-grade balsa for maximum buoyancy, which is protected with our special acrylic paint finish to create a super-tough …

The AS8 is the latest addition to our award-winning pole float series designed in conjunction with 5 times World Champion Alan Scotthorne. The AS8 are available in eight sizes from 0.4g all the way more→up to 3.0g. The classic shape is tried, tested and popular, making these floats a really versatile pattern, ideal for deep lakes or slow-moving rivers. They are perfectly balanced and the long carbon stem offers good stability. The As8 comes with a solid plastic red tip with the option to purchase different colours tips (yellow, orange and black) separately allowing the angler to select tip colour and change it as light conditions alter, without changing the rig or float Miniature precision …

AS2 The AS2 has been designed and developed in conjunction with five-time World Champion Alan Scotthorne. Available in six sizes from 0.1g to 0.6g, it features a thickened 0.6mm spring stainless w more→ire stem for improved stability compared to glass or carbon. The stem is also only bonded halfway into the bulbous body, rather than continuing up into the bristle, to improve the floats balance and behaviour without adding unnecessary weight and detracting from the buoyancy. Alan has field-tested these floats extensively and is happy that the thicker stem will withstand plenty of abuse from catching big bags of carp! The float bodies themselves are remarkably concentric with very little or no…

Crystal Dibbers The Crystal Dibber is set to revolutionise carp fishing in shallow water! Drennans unique Crystal technology was once just the domain of wagglers and running-line floats “ but it has n more→ow entered the realm of pole floats! We believe we are the only manufacturers in the world capable of blow-moulding these super-tough pole float bodies to such a small, exacting size. Our latest machine is even smaller than that used to create our famous Puddlechucker pellet wagglers. An obvious advantage of a Crystal Dibber is how unobtrusive it is in clear or shallow water. A solid-coloured pole float casts a distinct shadow and is much more visible to fish feeding up in the water or in the ma…

Description In an ideal world, there would never be much wind and we’d always be able to see our floats easily at distance. In truth, of course, conditions are usually very different! In sample more→trials, working with some exceptionally good River Trent anglers, we found that the answer was to do exactly the same as we do with bolo floats and by using thicker hollow inserts, the float tips were much easier to see. This No2 Hybrid has a 3.5mm hollow insert and a green body colour. RECOMMENDED SILICONE RUBBER BASE – 1.5mm TIP – 2mm, 3mm

Description This dark grey coloured range has the same body shapes and stem lengths as the No1 and No2 Hybrids but features a 4mm hollow insert. It’s the one to use when conditions are poor in term more→s of wind and light. As with our other Heavy Base sticks, the best way to shot the new Hybrid sticks is with small shots (No8s or No6s) spread equally from just under the bottom of the float stem to within 10″ of the hook. Done this way, the casting process is easy and tangle free and it’s possible to fish a long way out. With practice, overhead casting will give even more distance. RECOMMENDED SILICONE RUBBER BASE – 1.5mm TIP – 2mm, 3mm

Description There are many times on river swims, particularly when roach are the target species, that strung out shotting patterns produce more fish than bulk rigs. The big problem occurs when you more→want to fish a long way out in this style and bolo floats normally end up as the only option. These new Hybrid sticks are a combination of long hollow inserts, heavy bases and the same shape bodies as our popular Insert sticks. The No1 features a 3mm hollow bristle in differing lengths to suit to sizes. We’ve also come away from our usual black body finish in order to help with quick identification on the bank. RECOMMENDED SILICONE RUBBER BASE – 1.5mm TIP – 2mm, 3mm
