Big weights of dace and roach were regularly taken on prototypes of thi more→s float last season from rivers like the Severn and Wye. It's also a very popular float in parts of Ireland. All the floats in this pattern feature plastic bristles which makes them easy to see and the range is ideally suited to depths from 4ft to 15ft. This is the float to use on low rivers when the flow isn’t too great. Like the DH18, the shape of the float has very little resistance to taking fish, which means you connect with more bites. Best shotting pattern is with a DH On-Line

The Guru Ligger Carbon Pole Floats may have similar properties to the Skimmer in terms of stems, bristles and sensitivity, it is the body shape of these pole floats that sets them apart, with these Gu more→ru pole floats featuring a much rounder profile. This gives these pole floats ultimate stability and allow it to be easily controlled in flowing water conditions, perfect for use on rivers. A perfect addition to any natural venue anglers match fishing tackle. The body shape means that the pole float can be held static or held-back against flow to achieve a certain kind of presentation in moving water, slowing the bait down without the body of the pole float riding up out of the water. A really popular shape and style of float that has loads of uses, especially for fishing on the drop and through the water with baits like maggots, casters, squatts, pinkies and hemp. The bristle on t more→his float is probably its biggest edge against all others, as it features a pure cane tip. When fishing ‘through the water’ and ‘on the drop’, cane offers amazing presentation and bait support, and can be very easily shotted , especially when dotting a float right down to a pimple.  When fishing in the upper layers it also supports baits suspended off the bottom very well, a superb float for fishing casters in the upper layers of the water. The slim body combined with a thin carbon stem is perfec…

The Speed is a pattern designed for catching large numbers of fish, a stable pattern that sets and settles very quickly, enabling a bite to be seen as soon as the bait settles, perfect for use with a more→bulked-down style positive rig. The fast-setting nature of this float comes from the fact that it is a body-down design, with the body tapered in a teardrop shape with the bottom of the body rounder for stability and the top part of the body tapering up smoothly to the bristle.  This shape also means the float is perfect for lowering down into the water when using baits like bloodworm or bread punch and strikes incredibly cleanly from the water. The fibreglass tips are highly sensitive, but u…

The slim and long body shape to this pattern makes it perfect for catching lots of fish very quickly in all kinds of situations. Ideal for use on a whip or in all depths on a pole, the benefit of this more→float is its super-fast-setting nature with the long balsa body very difficult to tangle and flick over or wrap up.  Due to the super slim profile, the float cleanly enters and also leaves the water on a strike, offering very minimal resistance to a fish taking the bait. In the lighter sizes, this pattern is great for use on a whip or short-line tactics for small fish like bleak.  The bristle on this pattern is fibreglass for easy shotting and great visibility, again slightly thicker than on…
