SIZES: 1g, 1.5g, 2g, 2.5g, 3g, 4g This pattern is perfect for river swims from 5ft to 12ft where the flow is slight or where there are a lot of fish present and you are getting bites quickly. Like more→our other bolo floats, it is best fished with a bulk in the form of a DH On-Line olivette about 18in to 2ft from the hook and a single drop shot, either a No8 or a No6, positioned about 10 inches from the hook. This is also a great float for use with long whips, a style of fishing that has become very popular on a variety of venues in recent times.

We field-tested many prototype more→s of this float on rivers like the Trent and Severn before we got the body and stem lengths perfectly matched. Done this way, casting is effortless and the heavy base makes control easy.

It has a thicker hollow bristle and the shape of the float allows it to be held back hard and easily controlled in very more→strong current. This float works especially well in depths from six to fifteen feet and should be fished with DH In-Line olivette. This is fixed around two to three feet from the hook with a No4 or No1 drop shot on the hooklength.

The more→bulbous tips of the floats are easy to see at distance, which is important when you are catching your fish 30 metres or more downstream from where you are sat.
