The Sabian 14 Hoop Crasher is an effects cymbal designed in collaboration with Jojo Mayer. The Hoop Crasher simply clips onto the snare drum head without changing the sound of the drum head but with the ability to deliver white noise responses when needed.

The Sabian Paragon Splash cymbal was developed with Neil Peart of Rush. It combines the pinpoint lathing from the AAX series with the classic Turkish style lathing from the AA series. The AA lathing creates a wider groove that provides fuller rich tones on the bottom side on the top and classic Turkish-style AA lathing on the bottom.
