Rainbow Henna retains its color for approximately 4-6 weeks and is safe to use more frequently than this. Product Usage: How to prepare: Rainbow Henna can be applied to wet or dry hair, but make sure your hair is clean and free of hair spray, gel, or conditioner. To shampoo first, towel dry your hair before applying.Pour the rainbow henna powder into a glass or plastic bowl. Use enough to cover the area you wish to apply. *Do not use metal bowls or utensils.* Boil 8 to 16 oz of liquid (water or coffee or tea). Slowly pour in the liquid and mix thoroughly with a wooden or plastic spoon until you have a creamy yogurt-like consistency. If the mixture is too thick or thickens during application, you can add more liquid. You do not need to use all of the liquid to achieve the correct texture. To dye gray hair, mix the powder with coffee or tea and add 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider. *See below for detailed instructions to achieve desired results. *Special tips and hints for covering gray hair to suit your personal taste: Coffee or tea (English Breakfast, Darjeeling, Ceylon): Reduces red tones, deepens brown-red tones, or helps with gray/white hair.
