How to use the product: How to prepare: Rainbow henna can be used on wet or dry hair. However, your hair should be thoroughly rinsed and free of any hair spray, gel or conditioner. If you want to shampoo first, dry your wet hair with a towel. Pour the rainbow henna powder into a glass or plastic container. Use enough powder to cover the area you wish to use. *Do not use metal containers or utensils.* Boil 8-16 oz (240-480 ml) liquid (water, coffee or tea). Slowly pour the liquid into the henna and stir using a wooden or plastic spoon until it thickens like yogurt. If you feel the mixture is too thick while applying it to your hair, add more liquid. You don't need to use all the liquid, just use as much as you need to adjust the consistency. To cover gray or white hair, mix the powder with coffee or tea and add 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. *See below for special tips for desired results. *Special formulations and hints for gray hair for personal preference results: Coffee or Black Tea (English Breakfast, Darjeeling, Ceylon): Substituting coffee/tea for water will weaken the red tones and bring out the brown-red tones.
