A combination pedal that combines a full-range overdrive with the Hot Tubes Nano, a reissue of the 1970s CMOS Hot Tubes overdrive. The Crayon and Hot Tubes sections can be used independently, and if used simultaneously, the two sections can be stacked and the Hot Tubes can be driven by the Crayon. It produces great sound whether used with guitar or bass. The Blend control allows you to adjust the mix balance between dry signal (original sound) and distortion component (effect sound), and is especially effective when used with bass. Bass and Treble controls in the master EQ section provide even more breadth and flexibility in tone control. Bringing great tone to both guitar and bass, Hot Wax is a powerful dual overdrive pedal that combines EHX's Hot Tubes and Crayon into one. You can use each section individually, or you can use both sections together to stack the two sections and drive Hot Tubes with the Crayon.
