This Scanpan Pro IQ 32cm Chef Pan with Lid is made from hand-cast 100% recycled aluminium which offers outstanding heat distribution and is guaranteed not to warp or have hot spots. Aluminium is also considerably lighter than other materials making this chef's pan easier to handle. A steel disc is cast into the base making it suitable for all hob types, including induction. Chef's pans are ideal for boiling and simmering liquids or making bolognaises, chillies, goulashes and stroganoffs and are particularly suited to dishes that need to be finished in the oven.They are also perfect for serving directly at the table. This chef's pan is also oven proof up to a temperature of 260°C. The Stratanium non-stick coating is PFOA and PFOS-free, metal utensil safe and offers exceptional performance for perfect cooking results. In fact Scanpan's Stratanium non-stick coating is so good it is designed for fat-free frying so you only ever need add oil or fat for flavouring purposes, making it a healthy choice for the kitchen.The riveted, brushed stainless steel handles transfer very little heat and are comfortable to hold. A glass lid with stylish steel rim is included with this chef's pan and is also heat resistant to 260°C. Designed and manufactured in Denmark, this 32cm non-stick chef's pan has a 3.5L capacity and is approximately 6.9cm high (without lid) with a base diameter of 22cm.
