Comes with 2.4GHz duck antenna. Ubertooth One is an open source 2.4GHz wireless development platform suitable for Bluetooth experimentation. Based on the powerful LPC175x ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller with full-speed USB 2.0, Ubertooth One is ideal for developing custom Class 1 Bluetooth devices. The entire board is only 2.5 inches long. It has a USB-A connector on one side and an RP-SMA connector on the other side. One of the features that sets Ubertooth apart from other Bluetooth development platforms is that it not only can send and receive 2.4GHz signals, but it can also operate in monitor mode, allowing you to monitor Bluetooth traffic in real time. This mode of operation has been included in low-cost Wi-Fi modules for many years and has been used in numerous applications in research, development, and security auditing. However, until now, no similar solution existed for the Bluetooth standard. It's also a completely open source platform (software and hardware), so schematics and code are readily available for all your hacking needs. Note: To open the schematic and board design files in the source package, you will need to download KiCad, an open source automated electronic design software package.
