Cool Cat Lady
We are not sure where the crazy cat lady myth started, but we certainly do have an opinion on it! We think that cats are great and that you can almost always fit one more cat into any house. For example, our office used to have zero cats (the shame!), but then we took a vote and decided to get an office pet. Unfortunately, we did not decide who would go get the cat and now we have 100 rescued cats roaming around the office!
That sounds like a lot, but it’s not so bad! The worst part is that each day it is someone’s job to clean all 101 litter boxes, which takes about eight hours. But it’s worth it because we have cats that sit on our laps all day every day! Nothing makes costume design easier than having one or twelve cats on your lap!
Mr. Whiskerses
We also had a long office argument about what to name all the cats, but, since we had already agreed on Mr. Whiskers, we just named them all that. Now our 100 Mr. Whiskerses love their new home, and we all spontaneously grew these cool cat lady wigs on our heads! It seems that twenty is the cutoff for when you have become a crazy cool cat lady… but that won’t stop us from getting just one more, will it?
