Titleist GT3 Fairway Woods The GT3 fairway Wood delivers a controlled ball flight, rapid ball speeds, and extensive adjustability. Each of the three loft configurations for the GT3 includes a sophisticated SureFit Adjustable CG Track System, enabling fitters to position a sliding weight into one of five settings: H2 (Heel), H1, N (Neutral), T1 (Toe), T2. The GT3 stands out from the GT2 with its taller face, a feature favoured by players who prefer to hit down on the ball with their Fairway Woods and enjoy the appearance of a deeper face. SEAMLESS THERMOFORM CROWN The GT2 and GT3 Fairway Woods feature a lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown made from a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This material is approximately five times lighter than steel, offering significant weight savings compared to previous fairway crowns while maintaining Titleist’s signature sound and feel. The seamless crown presents a preferred look at address without sacrificing performance. The GT2's crown incorporates more of this polymer to meet its specific center of gravity requirements. LOW CENTER OF GRAVITY The weight savings from the Seamless Thermoform Crown enabled Titleist engineers to optimise the center of gravity for superior performance. The GT2's CG is positioned lower and closer to the face, resulting in higher launch and reduced spin compared to the TSR2. In contrast, the GT3's CG is deeper, promoting a higher launch with low yet manageable spin. FORGED L-CUP FACE The clubface on GT fairway woods is engineered to boost performance on low-face strikes. A new insert wraps around the bottom of the club, preserving ball speed, minimizing excess spin, and enhancing sound and feel. TOUR-INSPIRED SHAPING Both GT2 and GT3 Fairway Woods feature refined shaping. Titleist engineers have flattened the sole curvature from heel to toe, giving the clubhead a lower sitting appearance. This adjustment ensures that impacts on the toe and heel hit higher on the face, increasing forgiveness.
