Trek Rail 9 GX Electric Mountain Bike 2022 The Trek Rail 9 GX Electric Mountain Bike is a top-of-the-line, long-travel suspension offering that excels on extreme and techy terrain. The burly aluminium frame neatly integrates the Bosch Performance Line CX motor that pumps out up to 250 watts of pedalling assistance for when tackling steep ascents and draggy fire roads. This motor is powered by a long-lasting PowerTube 625Wh battery that is neatly hidden inside the frame’s silhouette, while its output level can be toggled on-the-fly via the handlebar-mounted Kiox unit. This handlebar unit also doubles as an easy-to-read display for key ride metrics such as speed, distance and time. The aluminium frame features a straight shot down tube to afford extra pedalling efficiency and houses the RockShox rear suspension unit that offers a plush 150mm of travel. This generous amount of travel combines with an updated thru shaft damper configuration to guarantee heightened rear wheel tracking and big hit absorption. At the front of the bike, a RockShox ZEB suspension fork grants 160mm of travel to increase line accuracy when the downhills are rapid and littered with obstacles.
