The 250-watt rear hub motor will assist with pedalling up to 25kph (15.5mph), at which point it cuts out, but thanks to the build weight of around 14kg, the bike will still offer a natural ride feel.  Shimano 105 11-speed components with compact gearing offer a good range for hills and descents alike, and hydraulic discs take care of braking, in all conditions. The Bontrager Paradigm wheels and R1 Hard-Case Light tyres are strong and durable, offering good traction, smooth rolling comfort and puncture protection.
