The Akai Professional MPC X Special Edition Standalone Production Machine celebrates 35 years of innovation from Akai; with its retro-style design inspired by the iconic MPC 60; building on the original MPC X design with expanded memory and internal storage. The MPC Special Edition also comes pre-loaded with the MPC Instrument Collection providing a huge sound/instrument library to utilise in your compositions. This bundle also includes a dedicated Decksaver cover which keeps the MPC X SE protected whilst on the move or in storage. Expanding on the original the MPC X Special Edition features a whooping 48GB of internal storage (upgraded from 16GB) as well as 4GB of RAM for optimised sampling and recording capabilities. Navigating sounds and settings is made easy thanks to the 10.1-inch multi-gesture touchscreen display optimising your workflow. As always the MPC X features 16 RGB backlit velocity/pressure-sensitive pads allowing you to finger-drum trigger samples and much more. Powered via a quad-core processor; the MPC X SE comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; freeing you from the restrictions of cables for a truly portable production experience. Not only that but the MPC X SE also features a range of hands-on controls including 360-degree encoders and dedicated functions buttons. It can be even be used as a control surface for MPC software (included) so you can create fully-fledged songs and compositions from your computer.
