| SRAM SRAM Code R Disc Brake Front 00.5018.110.000For superior braking power, we built Code R with DirectLink lever mated to an oversized four-piston caliper. Finger ergonomics adapt with a tool-free reach adjust - offering a perfect balance of all forces: reliable, practical and - naturally - powerful. TECHNOLOGYTIMING PORT CLOSUREA hydraulic brake’s timing port is the connection between the rese... morervoir and the lever cylinder bore. When the lever is squeezed, a cup seal passes this area and closes the port, which pressurizes the system. SRAM’s timing port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish producing dependable braking power and consistency. EXPANDABLE BLADDERSRAM’s brake lever design includes a reshaped bladder that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder is specifically shaped to evacuate air from the lever and push the fluid exactly where it’s needed. The result is improved back-pressure relief, which produces dependable braking power and consistency. HEAT SHIELDThe stainless steel heat shield breaks the thermal connection between the pad and caliper body, reducing caliper fluid temperature by about 20°C even in the most extreme testing conditions. BLEEDING EDGEWith this caliper fluid circuitry, the bleed port has been moved to the bottom of the caliper, and all four piston bores can communicate. This way, during bleeding fluid naturally fills the caliper, resulting in an easier, more consistent bleed. DirectLinkSRAM’s DirectLink lever design produces a solid, positive feel the second you squeeze the lever to engage the brake. It offers a no-nonsense solution to give you precise control. MATCHMAKER COMPATIBLESave weight and clutter on the bar with MatchMaker. This system holds SRAM levers, a number of SRAM triggers and RockShox PushLoc controls – all with one tidy, light clamp.

| SRAM Code R Front Disc Brake DBS8110000SRAM Code R Front Disc Brake Developed with aggressive downhill and enduro riding in mind, the SRAM Code R Front Disc Brake combines unrivalled stopping power with the supreme modulation SRAM brakes are renowned for. The secret of their immense stopping power? Four oversized pistons and a large fluid reservoir deliver impressive strength, which ha... mores helped SRAM athletes to the top step of the podium across both the downhill and enduro World Cup series. To keep this power consistent, a steel heat shield reduces temperatures by as much as 20°C, reducing brake fade on longer, alpine-style descents. With ease of use in mind, the reliable design uses Bleeding Edge technology to ensure a simple bleed process every time. The ambidextrous design ensures levers can be run either side of the bar, depending on preference. Sintered pads are equipped as stock, which helps to improve overall power and wear life, and a tool-free reach adjustment makes adjusting the lever position a breeze.
