Today, Portmeirion pottery is extremely sought after by collectors across the world and the Botanic Garden collection is the most famous range from Portmeirion. It was created by Susan Williams-Ellis when she stumbled upon an old encyclopaedia featuring a collection of plants and flowers, which became the inspiration for her designs. The colourful and beautiful flowers caught her eye and she decided to incorporate them in the pottery.
