This cable supports a data rate up to 480Mbps for syncing and downloading pictures or uploading new apps, as well as 5 volts and 1 amp of power for device operation and charging. The USB-C connector has a robust design allowing for the connector to be plugged in and un-plugged up to 10,000 times; six times more connection cycles than traditional USB A connectors. Additionally, the USB-C connector is user-friendly has a symmetrical design which is identical on both sides, meaning it does not matter if you plug it in upside-down or right-side-up.
