Building on the GEN X-1 it adds CV and gate connectivity making it easy to link with a full-size keyboard sequencer or modular system. This expanded compatibility allows the GEN X-2 to be played from other instruments or used to control external synthesisers opening up a variety of performance and recording possibilities. Its two additional suboctaves create a richer fuller tone that gives basslines extra punch and leads more presence.
