The perforation allows for additional airflow, which is complimented by the breathable 3D spacer fabric used on the back of the hand.For rider protection, the gloves have a Thermoplastic breathable knuckle guard which combines the Knox Micro-lock technology for impact protection. There is also a Knox Sport Patented Knox Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) on the palm (Patent No EP1594378) that eliminates the grab effect that occurs when a leather palm makes contact with the road, reducing the risk of hyper extension which can be the cause of a broken scaphoid. Due to the high quality protection included, these Gloves are CE approved to EN13594:2015.The Gloves also have a wrap-around finger design which ends in Leather for superior comfort, and Amara touchscreen friendly fabric has been used on the index finger and thumb for device use whilst out on a ride.Additional features includes the Knox Lift & Lock secure closure system on the cuff for an easy and secure fit, and a perforated Neoprene Cuff with leather wrist strap.
