ENVE SES Aero Road Integrated Handlebar The ENVE SES Aero Road Integrated Handlebar is a lightweight, full-carbon, aero-optimised drop bar that increases your speed without sacrificing comfort or power output and can now be used with an integrated stem. Designed for road racers and short-course triathletes, the SES Aero Road Integrated Handlebar's superior aerodynamics, strength and control have been proven at the Tour de France with Team Dimension Data. As your body accounts for the majority of aerodynamic drag, ENVE set out to create a bar that has a minimal profile in the wind but also allows the rider to get aero without sacrificing comfort. ENVE once again worked with aerodynamicist Simon Smart on the project, designing using CFD and validating with thorough prototype testing to maximise aero efficiency. The result is a wind-tunnel proven design offering unique compact geometry and thoughtful ergonomics, which includes keeping the top of the bar narrow and a giving the drops a 25mm flare. This naturally eases you into a fast aero position that can be maintained for long periods of time without sacrificing power output. It also offers increased control and wrist clearance for confident handling in technical sprints, criteriums and descents. Honed in racing, the SES Aero Road Integrated Handlebar is also the stiffest handlebar in the ENVE product line, in order to meet the demands of road and ITU triathlon racing. Whether hauling on the bars uphill or a flat-out sprint to the line, the bar will give you unyielding support. Despite this strength and stiffness, the expertly employed uni-directional carbon construction ensures a low weight of just 233g while comfort isn't forgotten thanks to the bar's buzz-soaking compliance. The SES Aero Road Integrated Handlebar features internal routing for mechanical and electronic systems to save more valuable watts and offers further integration with electronic groups thanks to the ability to house a junction box in the bar end. Textured surfaces give the stem and brake hoods a trustworthy grip while the standard 31.8mm clamp offers near universal stem compatibility. The bar is finished with ENVE's unique integrated bar-end plugs, which give a soft rubberised finish to your selected bar tape.
