Saccharomyces boulardii is a unique probiotic that survives stomach acid, is not adversely affected or inhibited by antibiotics, and does not alter or adversely affect the normal intestinal flora. Therefore, ‘beneficial’ probiotic microorganisms such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium can be taken concurrently with Saccharomyces boulardii.
