High-quality cajon from Tango line of Artisan Edition series that features a Baltic birch (Betula Pendula) resonating body with elegant heat-branding and a limba (Terminalia superba) front plate. The 7-ply, 9mm thick solid resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth. The front plate is ergonomically rounded with convex contact and the rounded front plate corners and thumb notches further allow for greater comfort and playability. Inside the cajon there are two sets of three pre-tuned micro-coiled metal cajon strings that deliver a snapping snare effect. These strings are hand wound in the style of master cajon builder, José ''Pepote'' Hernández Diaz. A tuning key is included. The cajon also features specially formulated soft rubber feet. A tuning key is included. Dimensions: 286 x 483 x 298 mm. The instrument is made in Spain and has satin finish.
