Footprints also guard your built-in groundsheet against dirt and damage from rocks and other sharp objects. Each Big Agnes ground cloth tailored to fit the corresponding model of tent which saves you from carrying any excess material. Please note, the footprint covers the underside of the main living area and not the vestibule area.A ground cloth also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the inner tent body behind in good weather. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes.A great item to have when venturing into the unknown.
