The SSL The Bus+ is Solid State Logics flagship bus compressors built for engineers needing versatile mix bus control. Based around the authentic SSL Bus Compressor circuit it delivers the familiar glue punch and energy associated with SSL console processing alongside tools that let you adjust its response for different material. Four operating modes cover Classic Stereo Σ S/C Stereo Dual Mono and Mid-Side processing giving you plenty of routing flexibility. Three compression colour styles let you move between cleaner more relaxed and deliberately gritty characteristics. Theres also a two-band Dynamic Analog EQ for frequency-conscious compression or expansion with 16 selectable frequency points on each band. Stepped front-panel controls make detailed settings easier to recall while +27.5 dBu headroom accommodates demanding studio signal levels. You can even change the processing order placing the Bus Compressor before or after the D-EQ to find the response that works for your material.
