Very Robust for Formwork - The Installation Drill Bit is very robust for formwork. Its drill bit and shank end are screw-connected, which ensures a low risk of breakage and improves smooth-running operations. Furthermore, its tapered flute, offset drill bit and shank ends prevent jamming even in moist wood, while maintaining enough power to cut through embedded nails. Equipped with an extra-long shank, the bit delivers versatile drilling in multilayer building materials or sandwich materials, e.g. for building trade (formwork) and for interior fitting work, plumbing, heating and electrical installation. It is suitable for use on formwork, boards, planks, beams, plasterboard, light building materials, insulations and metal, e.g. metal plates, materials sandwiched with steel, aluminium or profile sheet. The bit's cylindrical shank is compatible with all drills with a 13-mm chuck. Made from HSS (high-speed steel), the Installation Drill Bit is manufactured to DIN 7490. It has a drill bit tip with chisel edge of 118 degrees. Cylindrical shank compatible with three-jaw drill chucks.
