UV radiation is one of the main contributing factors to actinic keratosis and skin cancer. Actinic keratosis appears as thick, rough, scaly spots or even crusts on the areas most exposed to the sun, such as the face (including the hairline and scalp), ears, neck, arms and hands. Fair-skinned people (phototypes I-II) are most at risk. Actinic keratosis patches are precancerous areas of the skin and are a sign of DNA damage in the skin, as well as an increased risk of developing non-melanoma skin cancer.

Recommended use:
