It comes with improved traction due to its adaptive design which provides grip and control on any terrain. The Starcross 6 is the first tyre of its kind to feature Silica technology that maintains the tread block in good shape. By integrating a high percentage of silica into the tread rubber, Michelin has succeeded in pushing the limits of rolling resistance to save fuel, without compromising tyre longevity. This tyre was made for podium results, it was developed alongside pro riders and is currently being ridden in World and National championships. The Starcross 6 comes with a double ply carcass which helps to provide a better resistance to soil aggression. It also features protection rubber which is a puncture protection reinforcement. The reinforced beads on this tyre help to protect the lower part of the tyre during mounting / dismounting and from the aggressions of the rim during the driving. This tyre also comes with the Michelin Adaptive Design which means the tread pattern is designed specifically for the terrain. The number, shape, depth anddistribution of studs and sipes are carefully studied in relation to the terrain on which the tire is ridden, providing traction and lean angle predictability.Medium / Soft is designed for Sandy terrainMedium / Hard is designed for intermediate terrainPlease note: Tyre size shows if that specific tyre is a Tubeless Tyre (TL) or Tubed Tyre (TT).Please Note: These tyres are NOT suitable for road use (NHS).
