diptyque Geranium Odorata EDT is a floral eau de toilette unisex. The geranium naturally reveals a bouquet with flowery facets, of rose, with slight shades of lemon. The originality of the Geranium Odorata fragrance is given by the association of the flower with the woods. In the composition of this fragrance two varieties of geranium were used: the geranium bourbon, coming from plantations of the Island of Reunion, and the geranium of Africa, coming from Egypt. The essential oil of geranium is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and stems before flowering. For the bourbon geranium the yield in essence is 1 kg per 600 kg of raw material: you get about 30 kg of essence per hectare and per year. In Reunion the plantations, which are found in particular to the west between 800 and 1000 meters of altitude, give three crops a year, of which the best is obtained in the hot and rainy season, between January and March, followed by the cut that takes place between June and october.
