An avid cyclist, Canadian designer Tom Chung used to climb Fromme Mountain, which is just outside of Vancouver, and was always fascinated by the technical performance of his bike. He wanted to reproduce the efficacy provided by his racing bike to reinvent the most common object, which nevertheless poses the biggest challenge for a designer: a chair.
