The Hohner Marine Band Deluxe Harmonica has been designed to provide a 21st-century alternative to the Marine Band 1896. This harp offers optimised handling and sound while retaining the original look and feel of the Marine Band 1896. Rather than the traditional nails the Marine Band Deluxe is assembled with screws for easy access to the different parts of the instrument. This makes maintenance easy and replacing worn parts can be done without any specialist tools or knowledge. Open back cover plates increase the volume you can achieve while also increasing stability. The edges of the reed plate are rounded off as well to increase comfort for extended periods of playing. You can keep the iconic 1896 blue sound with the pearwood comb and the two layers of lacquer with a third UltraGlide layer makes a smooth gliding experience. It even comes with a sturdy case which prevents dust from getting into your harmonica while allowing moisture to evaporate.
