At the heart of the set are two Kraftform 817 VDE blade-holding handles paired with 14 interchangeable VDE blades, each measuring 157 mm in length. The majority of blades feature a reduced diameter profile, allowing access to recessed screws and spring terminals that standard blades cannot reach — particularly useful when working inside consumer units, socket backs, and electrical enclosures. Identification is fast and accurate thanks to the Take it easy Tool Finder system, which combines colour coding by profile type with laser-engraved size markings on every blade. All tools are individually tested to IEC 60900 at 10,000 V, providing the certified protection required for live working in line with UK electrical safety regulations. The set is completed by a Knipex VDE 13 96 200 multi-function pliers, replacing up to six separate tools. It handles cable cutting, stripping, gripping, bending, deburring, and crimping of ferrules in a single instrument, with induction-hardened cutting edges rated for Cu and Al cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm² / Ø 15 mm.
