This outdoor PoE switch from Digitus is suitable for the operation of outdoor IP cameras for property monitoring or access points for an extensive WLAN reception even outdoors.
Normally, the data transfer rate is 100 Mbps for all ports (PoE range = 100 m) - In extensive mode, port 1 & 2 is limited to 10 Mbps, whose PoE range increases up to 250 m.
With PoE+ or IEEE802.3at, the power output is max. 30 W per port (EX-mode up to 200 m) – with PoE or IEEE802.3af, the power output is max. 15.4 W per port (ex mode up to 250 m).
In addition to Port 5, Port 4 can also be used as a uplink port (e.g. for a cascading) but the 12kV surge protection of the switch will be lost.
The weatherproof housing meets the protection class IP67 and is absolutely impact and shock resistant against external influences according to IK protection class IK10.
