There's gripper elastic in the waist hem to hold the jacket in place whether the pockets are empty or packed out.  You can store all your ride essentials in the four pockets, of which one is zipped for more valuable items. The full front zip makes it easy and quick to adjust to changing temperatures and efforts, so you can add a cooling blast of air as and when required.
