Half twin climbing rope with aramid for improved resistance to cuts from Edelrid. Edelrid has incorporated aramid fibres into their new Starling half rope to improve the cut resistance over sharp edges without affecting its dynamic properties. Through incorporating the aramid into only the sheath it hasnt compromised the elasticity of the rope, this combined with Thermo Shield allows for supple handling when in use. To improve upon its environmental resistance Edelrid have applied their Pro Dry finish to the rope that improves its water repellent properties and dirt resistance, making it ideal for use in adverse conditions. The Pro Dry finish also aids in water absorption which less than 2 as per UIAA Water Repellent Testing keeping the weight of the rope down in alpine terrain. 3D lap coiling enables instant use without tangles making the product ready to use out of the packet.
